Meet Debra

Padmani Akal Kaur

I create restorative spaces through the use of crystal singing bowls, gongs, breathwork, and intuitive presence—supporting others in returning to balance, calm, and connection.

With training in sound healing, breathwork, tuning forks, Reiki and restorative yoga, each session is intuitively guided and shaped in the moment.

My work is rooted in compassion, and my own lived experience of learning how the body can return to balance when given the right support. Healing often unfolds when we are given space to surrender and trust.

It is an honor to witness others soften, reconnect, and remember the peace that already lives within them.

A Turning Point

In July of 2003, my husband and I were involved in a life-altering motorcycle accident.

In the moments leading up to it, I had a strong inner awareness that something was about to happen—and a quiet knowing that I would be held through it.

What followed was an experience that shifted something deeply within me.

Although the accident itself was intense, I did not sustain serious physical injuries. Yet on a deeper level, my body and nervous system carried the impact in ways I did not fully understand at the time.

During the experience, I felt a profound sense of being supported—held in a way that was both unexpected and difficult to explain.

After being taken to the hospital and evaluated, we were released later that evening.

While everything appeared fine on the surface, something within me had changed.

That moment marked the beginning of a path unfolding—one that would guide me into deeper healing and into the resonance of sound and breath.

Where the path led me

From that moment, I began to listen more deeply—to my body, my intuition, and the subtle ways healing was asking to unfold.

Although I had not been seriously injured, my nervous system carried the impact in ways I couldn’t ignore. This led me to explore new paths of support and understanding.

That exploration guided me to Sedona, where I continued my journey through meditation, yoga, and a growing curiosity about the body’s innate ability to restore itself when given the right environment.

Over time, I was drawn more deeply into alternative approaches to healing, eventually finding my way to crystal singing bowls.

As I followed what felt like an intuitive calling, I also traveled to spend time with the Kogi tribe of the Sierra Nevada—an experience that deepened my connection to something ancient and meaningful within myself.

Not long after, I acquired my first set of crystal singing bowls—and everything began to shift.

From the moment I started to play, I felt a profound connection to sound. Over time, I noticed changes within my body and nervous system, as the patterns I had been carrying began to soften.

What began as a personal path of healing gradually became something I felt called to share with others.

Are you open to receiving the support of sound and breath on your healing journey?
